     Sport matters 
 

     Dieting is fashionable, we all know that paying attention to what we eat is important, but suddenly there is a new trend telling us that exercise is necessary, and you are probably asking  yourself,  why?

 

     Exercise is important for many reasons. It is often recommended to maintain a healthy weight, but the benefits are many, and not limited to weight. The human body is an amazing machine that is designed to move, to exercise for life. The correct physical activity improves memory, states of depression, metabolism and natural rhythms of the body. To be active will help you to improve your skin quality, your sense of humour,  will make you more creative and in general terms more positive.

 

     From the endocrine’s point of view there are hormonal substances released or activated only when we exercise. An example of this is the hormone “Irisin” which is secreted only when we exercise (or when we are exposed to cold). The effects of this hormone are beneficial because it stimulates weight loss and decreases insulin resistance, state that almost always accompanies  overweight and obesity and that determines a state of pre-diabetes.  A diet plan and physical activity are complements and one cannot replace the other, both are necessary to stay healthy and to achieve balance. From the aesthetic point of view improves cellulite and aging. From the medical point of view improves cardiovascular, immune, metabolic and neurological system.

 

     If you want to start physical activity because you've never done it is important that you take advice from a professional, he will let you know the type of exercises you should perform according to your weight, age and health status. If you perform physical activity already, continue doing so!

 

             Do not be convinced otherwise, any drug or device can NOT replace the benefits of physical activity.

I want to do sports, but I never did it before.
 
Doing sports is very important, specially when you are trying to modify your lifestyle, nevertheless to start with exercise without knowing your health status can be very dangerous.
 
In order to start physical activity the right way, you have to take a blood and an urine sample, these studies will let your doctor know if your glucose, lipids, blood and renal function is normal.  Depending on your health status, age and weight, more specialized studies could be also important, studies that sometimes only cardiologists do.
 
Exercise should be started step by step, not very strenuous exercise is recommended at the beginning.
 
A professional should advice you which exercise is better for your health status and age.

 

So... you want to do sports...

 But you have no time and no money to go to the gym. Then you just need the discipline to do this amazing video 3 or 4 times per week, plus 2 or 3 days of cardiovascular excercise, like taking out your dog 20 minutes!

 

It's too long you can do one day arms, another one abs, and another day legs and bottom.
